Accuratus Committed to Continuous Improvement

Posted on: May 29, 2018

In an effort to improve our processes and offer the most accurate testing services, Accuratus has implemented a continuous improvement program. Accuratus’ continuous improvement department fundamentally follows both lean processes and six sigma. While lean focuses on maximizing customer value while minimizing waste, six sigma is a set of tools to aid in process improvement and problem solving. Accuratus decided to employ both lean practices and implement some six sigma tools.

The goal of our continuous improvement department is to provide our customers with quality and refined testing. Additionally, Accuratus understands that problems arise from biological testing; the problem-solving tools that have been implemented will mitigate problems from repeating.

Accuratus maintains a Continuous Improvement department to ensure our staff and processes are always learning, growing and improving. Becky Lien, Accuratus Site Operations Manager and Continuous Improvement Coordinator, recently received her Six Sigma Yellow Belt from St. Thomas University in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minn.
